What is Microsoft Copilot?

An assistant plugged into your company data

Microsoft Copilot is the artificial intelligence assistant built into Microsoft 365. Its value does not come from the model, it comes from access to your mail, your SharePoint files, your Teams conversations and your calendar.

Used like a ChatGPT in a browser tab, it is useless. Plugged into that context, it produces entirely different answers. The whole training sits in that gap.

  • It answers from your documents, not from the web
  • It lives inside the tools your teams already open
  • It runs agents that you build yourselves

The program

Four modules, from license to daily use

Every module starts from your teams' real tasks. We set it up, we practice, you leave with usage that sticks.

01

Scoping and permissions

Tell Copilot Chat apart from Microsoft 365 Copilot, check SharePoint rights before opening the tool, and decide which data stays out.

02

Role by role onboarding

Finance, ops, sales, HR, leadership. Each group works on its own files, never on a generic demo.

03

The habits that stick

The high-yield moves app by app, and the ones that waste time. Every participant leaves with their prompts organized.

04

Agents and automation

Build an agent on a document space, use Researcher and Analyst included in the license, and know when to step outside Copilot.

In practice

The 7 uses that make Copilot click

These are the ones from our Microsoft Copilot guide, worked through in workshops on your own files.

  1. 01

    Chat plugged into your data

Priorities for the day, preparing a meeting, finding the document nobody can locate.

  2. 02

    Analysis in Excel

From exploring an export to a dashboard, with the COPILOT function sitting right in the sheet.

  3. 03

    Slides in PowerPoint

Generate an outline from an existing document, then bring it back to your brand instead of starting over.

  4. 04

    Triage and drafting in Outlook

Summarize a 30-message thread, draft a reply, translate, and set triage rules that hold.

  5. 05

    Meetings in Teams

Minutes, decision logs and a recap for whoever was not in the room.

  6. 06

    Long tasks in the background

Hand over deep work that runs while your teams do something else.

  7. 07

    Your own agents

An agent plugged into a document space, plus Researcher and Analyst already included in the license.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between Copilot Chat and Microsoft 365 Copilot?

Copilot Chat is the web version, which answers from the web and from whatever you paste into it. Microsoft 365 Copilot is the enterprise offer, plugged into your mail, your files and your meetings. This is the most common confusion, and it explains much of the disappointment, because teams judge the enterprise tool on the web experience.

Our licenses are deployed and nobody uses them. What do you do?

That is the most common case. We start with a real usage diagnosis, license by license and team by team, to see who dropped off and on what. Then come role-based workshops on the tasks that come back every week. Handing out licenses without role-based training is the first cause of failure we observe.

Is there anything to check before opening Copilot to the teams?

Permissions, first of all. Copilot respects existing Microsoft 365 rights, so it surfaces everything that was already accessible without anyone noticing. A SharePoint space shared too widely becomes a surprise the day the tool quotes it in an answer. This point opens the training, before any demo.

Do you also train non-technical profiles?

Yes, and they are the main audience. The training needs no technical skill, only comfort with Outlook, Teams and your own files. Groups are formed by role, because the useful habits of a financial controller have nothing to do with those of a salesperson. That is how we trained the 100+ staff of a European Private Equity fund, level by level.

Does the training happen on site or remotely?

Both. The first workshop works better on site, to unblock access and the first use cases together. The role-based sessions and the follow-up work very well remotely, inside Teams.

Why train on Copilot if you also train on Claude?

Because the most useful tool is the one already deployed and already paid for. Copilot wins on Microsoft 365 integration, Claude wins on long reasoning and custom agents. Many of our clients run both, and we help you decide which one serves what.

Concrete results, accelerated growth. Shall we talk?
